Tseremoniiyu has understood and appreciated my melodies and has decided to invited me to Shanson TV in order to sing, together with the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Academic Choir, the italian traditional song "Bella ciao".
Being on stage at the Kremlin for the first time, was a great honor for me.
The emotion was very strong on one side, but on the one hand, I felt like home there... and that's thanks to the hospitality and awesome reception of the Russian people".
April 5th, the wellknown restaurant “Karlson” in Mosca has held the festival of gastronomy “Il cibo come arte” (food as art).
Special guest for the event, the Italian chef Luca Martini and artist Francesco Barbato who, after the cooking competition between famous chefs of Moscow and the participants of the reality show “Master Chef”, has been asked to perform some Napolitan songs, rearranged for the occasion with the artistic touch of Mauro Paoluzzi.
The happening has been very welcome by the audience.
This festival of italian food has been held in Moscow from the 1st to the 10th of April 2014 to celebrate the "Year of Italy in Russia" in order to introduce the multiple aspect of the italian gastronomy to Russia.
Francesco has been a proud witness of this event organised by the tourist operator Travel Hunter, in partnership with Culinaryon, the Italian Embassy in Russia, ENIT, Regione Emilia Romagna / APT Services and the restayrabt holding Ginza Project.
The 6th of April Francesco Barbato has released his new Album “Stella Sei” in Russia, at the Imperia House.
The event has been organised by the online magazine “Mosca oggi” for the italian people in Russia and the Italian Music aficionados.
